Hello Readers, sorry you haven't heard from me in...2 weeks?...omg
Anyways, I've been reading all of your blogs and really enjoyed all of your wonderful posts. Really, wonderful. I'm going to California on Boxing Day, so I might not be able to post before the New Year. I gotta say that 2009 has been an absolutely wonderful year and I'm really glad that I started this blog its been great. Thanks for everyone who reads or even just glances at it.
I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Oh and happy belated Hannukah! :)

Here are some of my favourite photos I took in December. Enjoy :).

I hope you don't mind

British Vogue Cover!

I could totally wear these! Since they already have my first initial on them....
Although I have always been somewhat of a fan of Elton John (The Lion King was one of my childhood movies) he has only recently become a regular on my ipod. I can't get enough of every single one of his songs. Also anyone who has written lyrics for Billy Elliot the Musical is ok in my book. Bravo Elton. He was kind of like the male version of Lady Gaga of his time...

Who are some of your favourite artists?

xoxo

Oh before you go, watch this clip of "Spice World" (who doesn't love the Spice Girls?) and at around 4 minutes you can see a brief Elton John cameo. I laugh every time!

Heyyyy guyzzz suppp

Ok so sorry about the random posts lately, I'll try and make them more frequent since the amount homework is beginning to slightly decrease. Slightly
I saw pirate Radio last week and it was an epic movie. Honestly I don't like using that word often but it seriously was great. The music/actors are awesome and Emma Thompson made a cameo appearance woot!!

My hair is in a of a gross growing out phase right now...need to get that cut...Oh ya and SNOW

Millie jumped on to my windowsill and I had to snap a photo the lighting was so pretty. I post to many pictures of my cat....
These photos were taken really early and unlike most of you talented bloggers I am unable to capture beautiful "early morning light pictures". Sigh

This is a really unexciting outfit but definitely a comfy one.
wearing: dad's shirt, h+m scarf, lucky brand jeans, la dolce vita booties
AHHHH WHY IS THE BACKROUND IN FOCUS??

AHHH ZOMG
The FIRST thing I noticed when I first saw this video was that she was entirely decked out in ALEXANDER FREAKING MCQUEEN!!

If you haven't seen this video yet, kindly do so now

No one leaves here without singing the blues

Ok, so last week I was at my friends birthday party and after we went out for dinner we came back to her house to watch a movie. We ended up choosing "Adventures in Babysitting" which at first I wasn't to thrilled about. However, it turned out to be a surprisingly good movie! It was funny and definitely not as cheesy as the cover depicted. And oh the fashion! I'm looking out for my own pair of red Thor boots right now. Defs recommend it. 9/10.

I was even happier when I discovered that the annoying red headed kid in the movie (far left in the picture above) ended up being....
Anthony Rapp (or Mark Cohen) from Rent! Hurrah for child stars who are actually talented!
I got the babysitting blues.....
I realllllllllly want that jacket/ensemble

Oh right. Apparently a new movie called "Further adventures in Babysitting" is set to be released in 2010.
Starring Raven Symone.
Dear God.

Sorry that all I could give you guys was a movie review, but further posts await you!

Did anybody watch Glee? Oh and by the way I wish the Macy's parade wasn't on during school. Billy Elliot AND Hair preformed in it!!

maybe I'm amazed

Hey guys :)
So here is a long overdue outfit post. These were taken a few weeks ago, back when the weather was still fairly decent. I'm looking out the window at the complete darkness (its 5:30) and the falling rain. Although, I am looking forward to snow. And Christmas.
I've been super busy with school lately. All my teachers seem to think it is a good idea to give us unit tests in every class during the same week. Joy.
However, the musical I am in (Anything Goes) is going quite well, I had a rehearsal today and everyone was quite "into it" so thats always nice.

I am quite literally swamped with homework at the moment, so other than this and watching Glee I spend all my time either at school are doing homework. It sucks

I absolutely love this new beret from American Apparel, its the perfect colour

wearing: dress - h+M, tights- ?, shoes - dolce vita, beret - aa, cardi - banana republic
Granville street in Vancouver

Peppermint white chocolate mocha..........Christmas is coming!!!! (and Hunnukah bitchez!) I am awaiting the snow covered rooftops and christmas specials on TV

oh the The girl from i am sam??

Dakota Fanning on the December/January cover of Teen Vogue!!! I have been waiting for this!! I don't know if you guys remember but in this previous post I said that I would love to see Dakota on the cover as opposed to Taylor Lautner (sorry ladies)

Although I don't completely LOVE the editorial, I admire the fact that she looks her age (15) and the choice of shoes. I'm looking forward to reading this issue!

Oh and 5 weeks till Christmas break!! wooot!

A lack of colour

Ahh woah I haven't blogged in a while!
I hope everyone had a good halloween and that no one has as much homework as me right now. I basically have no life.
Anyways, here are some photos
fireworks on halloween
me and taylor and sofiya, I dressed up as a hippy. I know SO ORIGINAL. I have to think of a really good costume for next year..
Halloween cupcakes my sister and I made. Well, I cracked the eggs at least.

and this, ladies and gentlemen, is the new love of my life. Her name is Millie and we adopted her last week. Isn't she cute!
I had to go out and take some photos around my school campus for photography and I got some (hopefully) really good shots. It was around 11 in the morning and the lighting was so pretty in the forest, everything looked so magical.
^I felt like I was in where the wild things are
I promise I'll try to blog more, I've got a couple posts lined up. Are any of you guys dealing with a lot of homework right now?

I'll eat you up I love you so

Hey guys.........So I haven't blogged in quite a while, mainly because some really scary stuff went down this week, but luckily it turned out okay.
However on a good note, I finally saw Where the the Wild Things are and was utterly utterly amazed. The music, the cinematography, the wild things themselves, Max Records....everything was just so so amazing. I know literaly EVERYONE has been blogging about this movie but I just had to.

This movie should definatly win Best Cinematography at the Academy Awards.
Max and KW
" I don't won't you to go, I'll eat you up I love you so." I teared up
Alexander, the misunderstood, emotional wild thing. Voiced by Paul Dano, who is an amazing actor. He played Dwayne in Little Miss Sunshine.
Max - the king of fort building
Although I can't imagine how difficult it was to make this movie, I'm glad they went with the desicion to use real people as the wild things and not animate them, it seemd a lot more real. Apparently the heads of the costumes weighed over 100 pounds...

Me, wearing my wild things shirt in NYC. Shorts from urban outfitters
